I had a small collection of bells that I would put on our tree every year. I have such warm memories of that time.

We had a few small glass balls that I remember, but I mainly remember the angel hair and the soft glow it would give to the lights. I saw a box of angel hair at an antique store the other day, wish I had bought it.

I remember putting the lights and icicles on our tree.

The first lights I can remember were the medium sized bulbs....all different colors and if one went out, they all did. Seems like keeping replacement bulbs was a big issue. I remember bubble lights too.....I think they made tinkling sounds....?

I enjoyed browsing your web site. You have some beautiful ornaments. When I remember Christmas as a child, I tend to remember the aroma of a real tree and the smell of a baby doll. The good ole days.

Thanks for visiting! I haven't thought about baby dolls in a while....I had a Tiny Tears.....one with a scrubbable head! And I do remember that nice smell)))

I don't remember the ornaments as much as I did the trees that my Dad & I cut from the woods and the fake snow that was made with laundry detergent and water then drizzled it on the tree. There always seemed to be tinsel garland and a few ornaments. I love the ornaments you have on your site! They are so detailed and beautiful, I can't tell you which ones I like best. Now that I think of it, I think I'll go order a few more.....

I love Christmas When I was little I thought Santa brought the tree and decorated it. We would get up in the morning and the tree would be lit and so beautiful. We couldn't touch the tree so we would all stand around it looking at the ornaments and the presents under the tree. We had to wait until we went to church ate breakfast and did the dishes. We would be so excited but we knew the good times were coming. Sometimes an ornament was a gift and would have our name on it; so it was fun to look all over the tree to see if there were any with our name on it. I think it made us appreciate and really see the ornaments. My favorites ornaments were the birds with the tails and they clipped on the tree branch. Today, I collect all sorts of ornaments and villages. anything Christmas.

Well we made it through our first Christmas Season! The website was very busy and it was interesting to say the least. One of the best things was the way folks would share why they needed or wanted a particular ornament. So many cute and funny stories were told....and some were sad. It was nice hearing from people and many e-mails turned into phone conversations which were much more than just completion of a sale.

I'm already very excited about next year and have already started preparing early! Items are being restocked and new ornaments for 2008 are beginning to come in. We're adding new styles from Old World Chrsitmas alone and Inge-Glas has a new chocolate section to die for! It includes hot cooa, chocolate ice cream cones, chocolate candies and sweets....any many more...I can't wait until they get here))))

We're also extending our selling season by adding some great handmade soaps (vegetable oils and goat milk soap). We're testing these ourselves and so far, it's very difficult to decide on a favorite....we love them all.

Other new items that are great for year round decorating and gifting are selections from Raz Imports Spring and Summer Collections....metal cookbook stands, easels, twig vases and bird nests, candle holders and several adorable resin chocolate bunnies and Easter decorations.

Come visit with us soon and check out our new items. Tell us about the special ornament you received this Christmas))

Every Christmas I buy each of my children a special ornament. I just broke my daughters 1st Christmas ornament, and I am desperate to replace it. I have been on MANY websites trying to locate it. It was puchased in '05 at the Bombay Co. store which just went out of business. It's a glass polar bear with little sleeping girl on it's back. She is wearing a red hooded outfit with black boots. I would be forever greatful if someone can help me locate this very special ornament.
